Mr. Bean is a British sitcom manufactured by Rowan Atkinson and Richard Curtis, and starring Atkinson within the title role. Atkinson co-wrote all fifteen episodes with either Curtis, Robin Driscoll, or both, with Ben Elton co-writing the pilot. A clip show, "The Best Components of Mr. Bean", was broadcast on 15 December 1995, and something episode, "Hair by Mr. Bean of London", wasn't broadcast until 2006 on Nickelodeon.
With different character originally manufactured by Atkinson while he was studying for his master's degree at Oxford University, the series follows the exploits of Mr. Bean, explained Atkinson as "a child inside a grown man's body", in solving various problems presented by everyday tasks and quite often causing disruption along the way.
Bean rarely speaks, along with the largely physical humour with the series hails from his interactions with other people and his awesome unusual ways of situations. The series was depending physical performers for example Jacques Tati and comic actors from silent films.
During its five-year run, the series gained large UK audience figures, including 18.74 million for the 1991 episode "The Downside to Mr. Bean".
The series has gotten a number of international awards, like the Rose d'Or. The show may be bought from 245 territories worldwide and contains inspired an animated cartoon spin-off, two movies, as well as an appearance in the London 2012 Summer Olympics opening ceremony.
